Northern Power Systems Receives President’s “E” Award for Export Growth

E Award

Northern Power Systems (NPS) was recently presented with the prestigious President’s “E” Award in Washington DC. The “E” Award is provided annually to a select group of companies in recognition of exceptional contributions to the national export expansion efforts that support the U.S. economy and create American jobs.

The “E” Awards Committee was impressed with Northern Power Systems’ exceptional export growth of more than 300% during 2012 – 2015. The adaptation of our distributed wind turbine product line to maintain compliance with international regulations and performance expectations of international investors was also particularly notable.

Northern Power Systems VP of Global Sales, Reinout Oussoren received the “E” Award from the Honorable Penny Pritzker, U.S. Secretary of Commerce, in a ceremony at the U.S. Department of Commerce. “We are excited about our continuous export growth and global demand for our products. Helping strengthen the U.S. economy and see our commercial efforts being recognized in the form of the “E” Award is both an honor and a reward for the hard work of all of our Global team members” said Mr. Oussoren.
