Hyannis Country Gardens wind turbine dedication featured in local news
The Boston Globe Magazine's cover article for November 30th, titled "Higher Power," features many of the end users who are eagerly awaiting the installations of their Northwind 100 in 2009. From convents, to schools, to banks, community and business leaders see the cost benefits of these individual wind projects and are excited about the potential to save jobs, reduce energy costs and display their commitment to renewable clean energy by raising their towers and letting their turbine blades spin.
Unlike some of the other large turbine applications that the article mentions, the Northwind 100 is a smaller less expensive option from the one million dollar price tag on some of the larger models, making our turbine the perfect fit for community applications. Our customers value our short lead time of 6 months, lower cost, and its smaller size of 200 feet.
