Planting starts on a Northwind 100 wind farm

Congratulations to Alaska Environmental Power (AEP) on their new Northwind 100! Mike Craft celebrated his first of many planned wind turbine installations at a dedication ceremony on October 8th, 2008.

Alaska Environmental Power's turbine is connected to the power grid in Delta Junction, Alaska. the company will act as an Independent Power Producer and sell power back to the local utility. AEP did it's own installation and plans to build out a small wind farm at this same location.
