
In 2004, Mayor Michael McGlynn created the Medford Clean Energy Committee in an effort to become a municipal leader in the use of clean power. The city identified McGlynn Elementary as the ideal site for a Northern Power 100 wind turbine. Now children and the community have the hands on opportunity to learn about energy independence and green technology while saving money.
